How does "pre-funding" work?
1) Order and pay for the cards.
2) When we process your order, we pick one out of a box and scan the serial number of the card and record it on our systems.
3 When you receive the cards and import them into Xaman, our application detects the serial number and looks to see if there is a pre-funded amount waiting to be claimed. ( Normally 1 XRP).
4) After the card creates it's account secret, you will see this screen with the, "Activate your account" button.
5) When you tap that button you will see this screen:
6) Tap the, "Activate" button and we will send 1 XRP to your newly created Xaman card account.
Frequently Asked Questions
I claimed the pre-funded amount but I can not see it in my account. What gives?
In order to be able to hold XRP in an XRPL account, it must first be activated with a minimum of 1 XRP.
The first 1 XRP deposited into an XRPL account will be used to meet the reserve requirements and will not be spendable (unless and until the account is deleted and the reserve gets moved to another account).
