1. Sign into your account on the Kraken website.

2. Select the “Funding” menu.

1. Create a name for your Xaman account in the “Address description” field. (We called ours "Xaman Savings Account.)

2. Enter the r-address of your Xaman account to the “Withdrawal address” field.

Note: Your r-address in Xaman can be found on the main screen as indicated in this picture:

Note 2: A Destination Tag/memo is not required when sending to a self-custodial XRP Ledger account, like accounts managed with Xaman.

1. Press the “Add withdrawal address” button.

1. Check your Email account. Locate the most recent Email from Kraken and click on, “Confirm withdrawal address”

1. In the “Withdrawal amount” field, enter the amount of XRP you would like to send then press the “Withdraw xx.xx XRP” button.

Your XRP will arrive in your XRP Ledger account managed with Xaman shortly 🎉

1) Launch the Crypto.com wallet.

2) Select XRP.

3) Press “Transfer”

4) Press “Withdraw”

5) Press “Crypto”

6) Press “External Wallet”

7) Press “+ Add Wallet Address”

8) Press “Ripple”

9) Enter your r-address managed by Xaman, select “No destination tag required for my wallet” and add a “Wallet Name” then press “Continue”. Note: You can find your r-address in Xaman here…

10) Press the “Withdraw XRP” link, then enter the amount your would like to Withdraw and press the “Withdraw” button.

11) Review the transaction and if correct, press the “Confirm” button.

12) Enter your Crypto.Com passcode when prompted.

Your XRP will arrive in your XRP Ledger account managed with Xaman shortly 🎉

1) Sign into your Gatehub account and click the Send Payment option.

2) Select XRP Ledger.

3) Enter your Password and 2-Factor Authentication code.

4) Enter your r-address for your XRPL account managed by Xaman, specify the amount to send, then press Continue.

5) Your XRP will arrive in your XRP Ledger account managed with Xaman shortly. 🎉

In order to be able to hold XRP (or any of the 25,000+ tokens issued on the XRP Ledger) in an XRPL account, it must first be activated with a minimum of 1 XRP.

An account can be activated several ways but regardless of how it is activated, the first 1 XRP deposited into an XRPL account will be used to meet the reserve requirements and will not be spendable (unless and until the account is deleted and the reserve gets moved to another account).

After you create a new XRP Ledger account in Xaman (formerly Xumm), you are presented with the following screen:

There are four way to activate an XRPL account:

• Option 1

You can purchase XRP from one of our partners to activate your account.

• Option 2

You can activate your account from another XRPL account in Xaman

• Option 3

You can activate your account from an external source like a crypto exchange

• Option 4

You can activate your account from an external source like another XRP Ledger account

Option 1, 2

Your first option is to purchase XRP from one of our partners.

Pressing the, 'Buy XRP' button gets you into the purchase flow:

Press the down arrow in the "Select your country or currency" field then choose your country or currency and you will see a list of service providers for your region.

Select the appropriate service provider by pressing the 'Open xApp' and follow the instructions provided on the screen.

Your second option is to fund your new XRPL account from an existing XRPL already imported into Xaman.

Pressing the, 'Fund with existing account' button gets you into Xaman send flow.

Choose your existing account in Xaman that has already been activated and has at least 1 XRP available for spending. You will be sending it to your new account.

You can choose any of the pre-determined amounts but the first 1 XRP will be ear marked for the account reserve. When done, press the Activate button then review the transaction and Slide to Accept.

Option 3

There are several crypto exchanges in the blockchain space which also sell XRP. Some of the bigger players include:

For instructions on how to send XRP from one of the above exchanges, simply click on the name of the exchange and follow the steps.

If your exchange is not listed above, here are the generic instructions which should help sending from your exchange:

Option 4

Finally, you can activate your new XRPL account by sending 1 XRP from another XRPL account.

For example, if you have a friend, family member, co-worker, etc. who has an activated account, you can have them activate your account by having them send 1 XRP to it.

Here is how they can send XRP to Xaman:

1) Go to the Bitrue website, sign into your Bitrue account and choose the Assets menu then Spot.

2) Locate your XRP in the list and press the Withdraw link.

3) In the Network field, press the down arrow and select XRPL.

4) In the XRP Withdraw Address field enter your account r-address from Xaman. Note: You can find your r-address in Xaman here…

5) Check the No Tag option.

6) In the Amount field, enter the amount you would like to send.

7) Press the Withdraw XRP button.

• Open your Xaman app, and tap and hold your account address (r…) and Copy your account address

• Switch to the Bitstamp app, select Wallet

• Tap the XRP wallet

• Enter an amount to send to Xaman

⚠️ Please note: if your XRP Ledger account (managed with Xaman) has not been activated, send at least 11 XRP (10 XRP reserve and 1 XRP extra in case there are withdrawal fees

• Paste your XRP Ledger account (managed with XUMM) address copied in the first step in the XRP withdrawal address field. Don’t enter a Destination tag, this is not required for XRP Ledger accounts managed with Xaman.

• Confirm by tapping the Withdraw button

• Optionally, if requested: enter your 2FA code and confirm your withdrawal with the e-mail Bitstamp may send you

• Your XRP will arrive in your XRP Ledger account managed with Xaman shortly. 🎉

While this video does not specifically show how to send XRP to your XRPL account managed by Xaman, it does should how to send XRP in general.

1) Sign into your Kucoin account, then select the Withdraw option.

2) Enter your r-address into the Wallet Address field.

Note: You can find your r-address in Xaman here…

3) Click the down arrow in the Network field and select XRP Ripple.

4) Enter the amount you would like to send in the Amount field. (Kucoin has a minimum withdraw amount of 20.5 XRP) then press the Withdraw button.

5) Press the Continue button. Note: Self-custodial accounts, like the ones managed by Xaman do not require destination tags.

6) Press the Confirm button.

7) Press the Confirm button to complete the withdrawal.

1. Open the Coinbase app, select the "Send" button.

1. Enter the amount you would like to send to your XRP Ledger account managed with Xaman then press, “Continue”.

⚠️ Please note: If you are trying to activate an account on the XRP Ledger, you will need to send at least 10 XRP

1. Enter your r-address from Xaman, (No XRP Tag is needed.) then press “Preview send”.

1. Select “Yes, I’m sure”.

⚠️ Please note: When sending to your self-custodial XRP Ledger account managed by Xaman, a destination tag/ XRP Tag is not required.

1. Tap the “Send now” button and wait for Coinbase to process your transaction.

Note: For your you convenience, we have created this short video to guide you through the above steps.

1) Go to the Binance website, sign into your Binance account and choose the Wallet menu then Fiat and Spot.

2) In the search field, enter XRP and press Enter.

3) From the results, choose XRP then select Withdraw.

4) Make sure that you enter your r-address correctly, (the r-address of your account in Xaman.), then choose the correct network. (XRP Ripple).

You should not need to enter anything into the MEMO field.

5) Finally, enter the amount of XRP you would like to withdraw and press the Withdraw button.

Your XRP will arrive in your XRP Ledger account managed with Xumm shortly 🎉

1) Sign into your Uphold account then press the down arrow in the From field.

2) Choose your XRP account.

3) Enter the amount of XRP to send.

4) Press the down arrow in the To field.

5) Choose XRP (XRP Ledger network)

6) Press the Preview Withdrawal button.

7) Enter your r-address from Xaman into the XRP address field then press the Confirm button.

8) Press the Confirm withdrawal button.

9) Your XRP will arrive in your XRP Ledger account managed with Xaman shortly 🎉
